I bought this drive this week and am really impressed with it. It's small and very well finished in glossy black,light and small, a slimline profile. The item comes with a carry case and USB connecting lead. There's no requirement for a second USB connection for power, as some portable external drives have. Connecting it to USB3 on my laptop resulted in Win 7 auto loading a driver for it, so it's plug and play. It has a Samsung backup prog loaded on it but I prefer to use Synctoy and Win 7 image so deleted it.
The drive was already formatted in NTFS on receipt. When running, the drive has a lit slim blue bar to indicate disk activity.
It's quiet and gets slightly warm. I created an image of my hard drive of 275 Gb and copied this to the Samsung drive in just over 2 hours.
So far there are no issues that create any concerns for me.
At this price it's a great buy in my opinion.
